Mothers Moon is my doula & reiki practice, as well as my natural products business. I am a stay-with-child WAHM of my wonderful and very much loved six year old son, who was born through natural childbirth. We are no circ, no vac, natural learning, and whole food eating. Along with my husband of twelve years, and three cats, we live deep in the woods by a very nice "pond" in a small rural town in Maine. I am a birth worker, and also give responsive parenting support. I'm known for my healing & soothing herbals, full moon womens drumming circles, and the quilts, jewelry, soaps, candles, herbal packs, & other natural items I enjoy making. I am a storyteller and an artist of many mediums. My most treasured moments are creating alongside my beautiful son.
When I'm not giving classes, reiki treatments, or with doula clients, I can often be found with my "traveling show", at conferences & fairs. These events, as well as at my permanent home away from home, Back Door to the Moon in Winslow, and frequently visited shop Blessed Baby Boutique in Winslow, are places to find my other wonderful products & personal works of art such as felted creations, hand-painted infant t-shirts, cloth dolls, herbal teas & balms, wildflower seeds, and even some cotton hammock chairs!!
Most of the items I offer have been created by myself, some made by other moms, and a few are selectively chosen natural and/or fairly traded products from larger companies. I believe in and practice making a positive change in our world by offering earth-friendly products, and by supporting other families who are nurturing their children in a peaceful way.
